8 Years Ago Today…

Eight years. 

I’ve been marking this anniversary since Year One, and so feel duty bound to continue that tradition today. 

My fear is that that’s what this post reads like, too: a duty.

My apologies for that.

On the one hand: It’s a relief to know that the manuscript is currently being reviewed by the publisher before we begin the work of laying it out. 

On the other: I’ve been working on this exploration of the most empathetic show in TV history, while also watching society implode under the weight of its own ignorance and greed. 

With a bit of luck, this book will be out in November. And next year’s anniversary entry might be more upbeat.

Until then, ask yourself what Patty would do. Ask yourself what Graham would do.

And then do what Rickie would do.
